“Working with Joe was fantastic!! He was kind, responsive, professional, and knew his business very well. He was able to create both a classy atmosphere for the ceremony, dinner and aperitif, but he also really knows how to throw a party. Our reception was one of my favorite parts of the day and our friends will be talking about it for years to come. They literally shut down the dance floor! A huge thank you and shoutout to Joe for being the best!!!!”

Planning Your Wedding at Castello di Rosciano?
If you are planning your wedding at Castello di Rosciano, tell me your date, approximate guest count and the musical experience you have in mind.
Having already worked at the castle, I know the importance of coordinating music, sound systems and live musicians across its different spaces.
Planning a Wedding from Abroad: Venue Preparation and Live Harp
When Naomi and Shane first contacted me, they were planning their destination wedding at Castello di Rosciano from abroad, with several details still undecided.
Before they confirmed the booking, I visited the castle to assess the different wedding areas, the possible weather alternatives and the technical requirements of the celebration.
The couple also wanted live music and eventually chose harpist Michela La Fauci for the ceremony and aperitivo.
Although Michela was booked independently, I contacted her directly to coordinate performance times, technical requirements and the relationship between live music and the DJ-led parts of the day.
The objective was to create one coherent wedding music experience, rather than a series of separate performances.

Four Sound Areas and a Wedding Plan That Evolved
As the wedding approached, the timeline became more detailed and additional music requirements emerged.
Background music for the welcome drinks had not been part of the original arrangement. Providing it required an additional sound system, as the ceremony setup needed to be ready at the same time.
Further changes involved the antipasti buffet, the separate indoor rooms for dinner and dancing, and alternative arrangements in case of unsuitable weather.
Working with Chiara at Castello di Rosciano, I revised the technical plan to accommodate four principal sound areas, including dedicated support for speeches and a separate DJ and lighting setup for the final party.
These additional requirements were incorporated without increasing the agreed fee.
For Naomi and Shane, the aim was simple: to enjoy their wedding without having to manage the technical details behind it.

Personalised Music, SIAE Support and the Final Wedding Party
Naomi and Shane wanted an elegant atmosphere during the day and a lively, international celebration in the evening.
Their music combined instrumental arrangements, soft rock and soul-influenced dinner selections with familiar pop and rock classics for guests of different ages and nationalities.

I prepared the dinner playlist, developed the final DJ set around their personal requests and edited the songs for their first dance and family dances.

Another important detail arose during the planning: the couple needed an Italian SIAE music licence. I handled the procedure and advance payment on their behalf, so they did not have to navigate the process from abroad.

On October, the favourable weather, carefully prepared music and final indoor DJ party came together for a memorable celebration.

Naomi's review afterwards highlighted both sides of the experience: the classy atmosphere throughout the day and a final party that she and her friends would remember for years.
