I’m Joe Ferranti, an Italian Wedding DJ and Music Planner based in Perugia, in the heart of Umbria, available for destination weddings across Italy.
My connection with music did not begin with weddings. It started when I began playing guitar as a self-taught musician at the age of 13, and continued through years of practical experience with live music, stages, bands and sound systems in Italy.
Over the years, music and sound have remained a constant part of my daily life. This is why I approach each wedding not as a simple DJ performance, but as a complete musical and emotional journey — where music selection, timing, atmosphere, audio quality and technical reliability all work together.
Today, my work combines DJ performance, wedding music planning, professional sound management and visual atmosphere design for international couples who want their wedding in Italy to feel elegant, coherent and emotionally powerful from beginning to end.

A Continuous Life in Music and Sound
My background brings together two sides of the same world: music and sound.
I started playing guitar as a teenager and have continued to keep music as part of my everyday life. At the same time, I developed practical experience with live sound, working with stages, bands and performances in Italy. This gave me a direct understanding of what happens behind the scenes of a live event: sound balance, microphones, timing, technical preparation, stage dynamics and the importance of solving problems before they become visible.
This experience still influences the way I work today. For a destination wedding, music is not only about choosing the right songs. It is about creating the right atmosphere, preparing the technical setup carefully, managing transitions with precision and making each part of the day feel connected.
I am not a conservatory-trained musician, and I do not present myself as a certified sound engineer. My strength is a practical, continuous and real relationship with music and sound, developed over many years and brought today into weddings, private events and destination celebrations in Italy.
